Al-Omareyah Schools
Al-Omareyah Schools were established in 1987 as a pioneering educational institution on the land of the capital, Amman—the jewel of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan—and its sister city, Zarqa, on an area exceeding forty dunams. The schools were thoughtfully designed and prepared to welcome and nurture the children of this nation, who are driven by a passion for knowledge and faith.
Inspired by the Umariyah Covenant of the just Caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab, Al-Omareyah Schools have, since their inception, carried a timeless message as a safe and motivating educational environment that fosters creativity and leadership. The schools draw their strength from their enduring mission, rooted in the values of our tolerant Islamic faith, and implemented by a solid group of distinguished educators and teaching professionals from among the nation’s sons, as one of the achievements of the Jordan Islamic Bank.

Today, our schools serve more than 5,000 students across various age groups, offering both national and international programs from kindergarten through Grade 12. OUR BRANCHES
Founded in 1987 in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Amman Branch of Al-Omareyah Schools was established as a model of balanced education that integrates Islamic values with modern knowledge. The campus offers a comprehensive educational environment serving all stages from Kindergarten to Grade 12, through both National and International Programs.
The branch comprises five main divisions: Kindergarten, Mixed Elementary School, Boys’ Secondary School, Girls’ Secondary School, and the International School, offering a range of distinguished educational programs.
Managed by a qualified and experienced educational staff, the Amman Branch features modern facilities including advanced and smart laboratories, swimming pools, playgrounds, a library, and a prayer hall, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Beyond academics, the school is guided by an educational vision that aims to prepare a generation committed to its identity, excellent in performance, and capable of serving its community and competing at a global level.
The Zarqa Branch of Al-Omareyah Schools was opened in 2019 as a natural extension of the school’s journey of excellence that began in Amman in 1987. The establishment of the branch reflects Al-Omareyah Schools’ educational vision, which integrates academic excellence with strong ethical values, and responds to the growing educational and population needs of Zarqa Governorate.
The campus is built on an area of approximately 11,000 square meters and has been designed in accordance with modern educational standards in terms of infrastructure and facilities. It includes spacious classrooms equipped with interactive screens, scientific and smart laboratories, outdoor playgrounds, indoor swimming pools, a fully equipped library, and a medical clinic, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment.
The Zarqa Branch continues to play a vital role in preparing a generation that is academically distinguished and ethically grounded, capable of serving its community and succeeding at both the local and global levels.
